Mike Matthys
Senior Vice President, ISP Solutions and World Wide Sales
Mike has an extensive background in the networking and service provider industries. Immediately prior to NebuAd, he was the Founder of Pegasys Global Partners, a business development acceleration group that worked with clients based in Japan, Silicon Valley and Europe. Prior to that, Mike worked as Vice President of Global Sales at Calient Networks, with responsibility for global OEM relationships. At Calient, Mike personally closed more than half of the photonic switch trial networks around the world. Previously, Mike was Vice President of International/Asia Sales at Phone.com, where he achieved over half of world-wide revenues and was responsible for a wide variety of partner relationships. Mike was also Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations at Stratacom, where he built a world-class team of 55 people and grew the business to an annual revenue run-rate of $70M by the time Cisco acquired Stratacom. Mike started his career as a Product Manager at GTE Telenet, which was a leader in X.25 data communications that was a forerunner to IP networking. Mike holds a BSE with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Stanford University.
